How We Started
The Sacramento River Preservation Trust was formed in 1984 to stop a project the rock-lining of all outside bend banks along the Sacramento River’s main channel from Chico landing to Red Bluff.
Who We Are Today
Today, we are still a 501(c)(3) federally recognized non-profit corporation working throughout the Sacramento River Watershed to accomplish our mission. We are a special organization with a diverse Board of Directors and over 700 River Rep Members spread throughout California and the western United States, mainly concentrated in Redding, Anderson, Red Bluff and Chico.
